Selling the home you live in
Sell on the MLS for a flat fee. Keep the commission.
The same listing an agent would put up, on the same MLS, seen by the same buyers on Zillow and Realtor.com. You set the price and take the offers; a licensed brokerage in your state does the listing for a flat fee plus a small amount at closing, typically 0.5%, instead of 2.5-3%.
You see your home as the county has it and the MLS it belongs in, then pick a package and price before you pay anything.
What you get. What you keep.
Full exposure to every buyer and every buyer's agent, without handing over 3% of your sale price for it.
Your price
You set it with the county record, a value estimate and recent sales in front of you, and change it whenever you like. The MLS is updated the same day.
Your showings
Agents request times through ShowingTime and buyers reach you by email. You say yes or no from your phone, and you hand over the keys, not a stranger.
Your offers
Offers come straight to you, with the buyer's agent's contact details, and you decide what to accept, counter or decline. Nothing is negotiated on your behalf.

What sellers ask.
Is Portico Desk a brokerage?
No. Portico Technologies is a software company. Your listing is entered in the MLS by the licensed brokerage in your state, under its broker's name, exactly like a full-commission listing.
What does it cost?
A flat fee to list, typically a few hundred dollars depending on the package, plus a small amount at closing, typically 0.5% of the sale price with a stated minimum, paid from the proceeds only if the home sells. No listing commission. The licensed brokerage in your state sets its prices and you see the exact figures for your address before you pay.
What if nobody lists in my state yet?
Type your address anyway. If we do not list there yet, leave your email and you hear from us the day we do.
Do I still pay a buyer's agent?
That is your call, as it is with any listing. Most sellers offer something to the buyer's side because it brings more agents through the door; it is set in your listing, not by us.
